ITINERARY: Day 1 - Friday, May 1: Depart Your Home to Cairo, Egypt
Day 2 - Saturday, May2: Cairo
Arrive Cairo where you’ll be greeted by your Quest Travel Tour Manager, escorted thru customs and be transported to your luxury hotel and Orientation.
Day 3 - Sunday, May 3: Egyptian Museum Meals: B,L
We begin our journey by visiting the famous Cairo Museum with antiquities dating back to 4000 BC. We will see the priceless treasures of Tut-Ankh-Amon, the child king, as well as other old and new Kingdom treasures. Return to hotel and free evening to explore Cairo. Later possibly visit the famous Cairo marketplace / bazzar.
Day 4 - Monday, May 4: Sakkara Meals: B,L
Drive to Sakkara, visit the famous Step Pyramid of King Djoser, earliest of the major pyramids, designed by the great architect, Imhotep, the worlds oldest freestanding structure.
Day 5 - Tuesday, May 5: Cairo / Aswan / Nile Cruise Meals: B,L,D
Following breakfast, transfer to Cairo airport for a short flight to Aswan and check into our deluxe Sonesta Nile cruise ship, have lunch. In the afternoon we’ll take a felucca ride as we sail around Elephantine Island. The energy is high today in Aswan, and we’ll visit the renowned Nubian Market Place, once a main center for the ivory trade.
Day 6 - Wednesday, May 6: Philae Island / Kom Ombo / Edfu Meals: B,L,D
Morning boat ride to the Temple of Isis, on Philea Island representing a fusion of three great civilizations - Egyptian, Greek and Roman. You can feel the presence of Isis, Egypts Divine Mother, her vibration and message of Love, as we visit the Birth room inside her temple. Return to ship for lunch and sail to Kom Ombo, a famous healing temple built for the common people, dedicated to the Falcon God, Horus and the Crocodile God, Sobek. Dinner and sail to Edfu overnight.
Day 7 - Thursday, May 7: Edfu / Luxor Meals: B,L,D
This morning we visit the “Temple of Horus” the Falcon God, the best preserved temple of the ancient world, a magnificent temple of healing and resurrection. Back to ship and sail thru the Egyptian countryside and Esna lock to Luxor, the site of Thebes, the capital of Egypt at its height. Tonight we enjoy our Galabia party and games.
Day 8 - Friday, May 8: Luxor / Valley of the Kings Meals: B,L
Morning is devoted to Thebes, as we drive across the Nile to the West Bank, visit the Valley of the Kings, where the mysterious funerary texts, “The Book of the Dead” are exquisitely painted and carved into the walls. Continuing to Medinet Habu & to the Colossi of Memnon. Free evening in Luxor.
Day 9 - Saturday, May 9: Luxor / Dendarah / Abydos Meals: B,L
Morning drive through the countryside of Egypt to visit Dendarah, “Temple of Hathor”, Goddess of Love, Joy and Music, with its beautifully preserved painting of the sky and zodiac. We’ll visit magnificent Abydos, the temple dedicated to Seti, the Osirin Temple, and the far more ancient temple below, where we will see the sacred symbol, the “Flower of Life”.
Day 10 - Sunday, May 10: Karnak and Luxor Temples Meals: B
Sunrise visit to the vast and overwhelming Temple of Karnak, once connected to Luxor Temple by the Avenue of the Sphinxes. Karnak is dedicated to the Powers of Creation. Early evening we will visit Luxor temple, known as “The Temple of Man”. Later evening we fly back to Cairo to Le Meridian Pyramids hotel.
Day 11, Monday, May 11: Luxor / Cairo Meals: B,
Morning in Luxor and later this afternoon we fly back to Cairo, check into Le Meridian Pyramids hotel. Prepare for the Great Pyramid Experience!
Day 12 - Tuesday, May 12: Giza Pyramids / Kings Chamber Meals: B,D
Our Farewell dinner is tonight where we will enjoy an Egyptian show, a traditional meal and share our experiences and insights of the Journey.

Cairo / Sharm El Shaik / Mt. Sinai Meals: B,D Journey thru the Sinai desert, the Suez Canal, arriving at our luxurious hotel in Sharm El Shaik for dinner.
Ext. Day 2 - Thursday, May 14: Mt. Sinai / St. Catherine Monestary Meals: B,D
Today we will visit St. Catherine's Monastery, see the place of the Burning Bush and later climb Moses Mountain where Moses received the Ten Commandments and experience a magnificent sunset.
Ext. Day 3 - Friday, May 15: Sharm El Shaik Meals: B,D A day in Sharm to meditate, process and enjoy the Red Sea beach, snorkeling etc. A magnificent conclusion.
Ext. Day 4 - Saturday, May 16: Sharm El Shaik / Cairo Meals: B After breakfast return to Cairo. Check into hotel and free evening.
