The Winter Solstice is traditionally the most important festival of the year, a time of Reflection and Release, and marks a crucial point in the natural cycle of life. This is a most powerful time to meditate and do ritual, as the days near the Solstice are the most mystical of the year. The sun begins anew its journey toward longer days, times of new growth and renewal of the world once again. It is time to deepen and reflect on all that we have learned during the last nine months, since the previous Spring Equinox -- Spiritually Reminding Us, that in order for a new path to begin, the old one must end -- This is Our completion time... in preparation for Our Re-birth. -- Dr. Paul Hubbert, Ph.D.
